Personal Information may include a Customer’s or a User’s: full name, physical address, email address, IP address, or other identifier.  Personal Information does not include any aggregate or anonymized data that may have been created from Personal Information but can no longer be used to identify, relate to or could reasonably be linked to a Customer or a User.

We may obtain information about you, such as your basic customer information, transaction information and Service or product usage information, from our Affiliates as a normal part of conducting business and providing the Services.

We may obtain information about you from public databases, such as from government sanctions lists or screening lists, and any other publicly available information or other public data as necessary; public data.

Information from our Marketing and Advertising Partners

We may receive information such as your name and contact information from our marketing partners, including in some instances what marketing content you viewed, interacted with, or the actions you take on our Sites. We may receive additional information such as demographic and statistical information that we may attribute to you based on your assignment to certain statistical groups. Information we collect from Social Media and other Content Platforms

If you access the Services through a third-party connection or log-in (e.g., through a social network or social media app) you may allow us to have access to and store certain information from your social network profile. Information from Analytics Providers

We receive information about your Site usage, interactions, and any survey responses (including prior to account creation, in some cases.

If you use your account with us to conduct a transaction with a third party merchant, the merchant may provide us with data about you, such as your name and contact details, and your transaction with that merchant

Research and In-App Survey Information

We may use third party service providers to conduct in-app surveys to better understand our Customers’ experience and improve our Services. The information we receive from our research partners is pseudonymous

How we use your information

We use your personal information to deliver, personalize, operate, improve, create, and develop our Services, to provide you with a secure, smooth, efficient and customized experience as you use them, and for legal compliance, loss prevention, and anti-fraud purposes.

We use certain information that is necessary to conclude and perform our Customer Agreement or other relevant contract(s) with you. We will need to terminate your account if we cannot process your personal information for such purposes.

Provide the Services. In order to provide you with our Services, allow you to set up a customer account and profile; to create and maintain your customer account.

Send Service Communications. To send you administrative or account-related communications about our Services, which can include security updates or transaction-related information, through email, telephone, or in-product/push notifications. You may not opt-out of receiving critical service communications, such as emails or mobile notifications sent for legal or security purposes.

Third Party Service Providers. We provide access to or disclose your information to select third parties who perform services on our behalf. They have access to perform these services but are prohibited from using your information for other purposes. They provide a variety of services to us, including billing, sales, marketing, product content and features, advertising, analytics, research, customer service, data storage, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, and legal services.

Safeguard the Services: To promote the Safety, Security and Acceptable Use of the Services in accordance with the Terms of Service and the Customer Agreement, To verify accounts and related activity, find and address violations of our Customer Agreement or policies (including our Prohibited & Conditional Use Policy), investigate suspicious activity, detect, prevent and combat harmful or unlawful behavior, detect fraudulent behavior and to maintain the integrity of our Services, including account takeover prevention and support.

Compliance with Applicable Laws. Our Services are subject to laws and regulations requiring us to collect, use, and store your personal information in certain ways. If you do not provide the personal information required by law, we will have to close your account and terminate provision of our Services to you. We may access, read, preserve, and disclose information as required by law, regulations, law enforcement, government requests, court orders, or for tax purposes. Examples include:

To promote safety, security and integrity. Outside of performing our contract with you, we may use and analyze your information to protect the integrity of our Services.

  • It is in our interest to prioritize securing our platform and network and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our Users and Customers. This involves verifying accounts and activities, addressing harmful behavior, and actively combating fraud, abuse, spam, and other negative experiences to maintain a secure and positive environment for all.

To research and innovate. We conduct surveys to gather feedback on your experience with our Services, which helps us conduct research and drive innovation in areas relevant to our offerings.

  • It is in our interest to enhance and refine our Services based on insights gathered from research surveys and interviews, benefiting both our interests and those of our Customers.

To provide Customer Support. We utilize our Customer Support team and research team, including electronic online interfaces, to deliver communications and support services to our users.

  • It is in our interest and our Customers’ interest to provide customer support and to improve our Services.
App, browser, and device information

Information based on your Consent – to Enable Settings. When we use your information based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time (which will not affect our prior use of your information, based on your previously given consent).

For Corporate Reasons.

How long we retain your personal information

We retain your information as necessary and as needed to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, or protect our or others’ interests.

In line with these considerations, we delete information that is no longer needed for the above purposes when you close your account, or when you request deletion of your information.

Personal Information of Minors.

Our Sites and Services are not directed to persons under the age of 18.  We do not knowingly target, request or collect any information about persons under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not provide any personal information through the Sites or Services. If a User or Customer submitting personal information is suspected of being younger than 18 years of age, then Company will close the relevant Customer or User account, and will take steps to delete the individual’s information as soon as possible.

How we protect your information

We take technical and organizational security measures to protect the information provided via the Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any information to the Company via the Internet.

We maintain a comprehensive information security program that employs commercially available physical and IT securitization tools, including but not limited to:

  • Firewalls;
  • Segmented Data Storage;
  • Encryption;
  • Multi-factor authentication; and
  • Policies providing for least privileged access to data across our organization.

Note, however, there is no way to completely eliminate the risk of a data security incident. If we do suffer one that affects any of Your Personal Information, we will report the same to You as per applicable data breach notification laws.

1. The website actively collects member information such as first and last name, age, city and state, email address, gender, date of birth and information through registration forms, applications, voluntary surveys, contests, purchases and participation in public forums such as bulletin boards.
